From age 12, my father and grandfather taught me that when it comes to working on a client’s home, only absolute, unqualified perfection will do! They taught me that a man’s word was his bond. They showed me that the customer experience should be as smooth and pleasant as possible. They instilled in me that a friendly smile and hand shake went a long way. Where has this level of customer service gone to over the years?

I am very proud to say that friendly service, excellent communication and pride in workmanship is alive and well here at Busy Beaver Roofing! I wish that were true throughout the home improvement industry.

Let’s face it, everyone knows someone that has been burned by a contractor before. Maybe they took the deposit money and never even started the job. Or they did start the project only to abandon it midway through leaving with all of the money. Lastly, maybe they did complete it but the workmanship was so bad that you needed to hire another contractor to start from scratch.

Being a third generation Home Improvement Expert I have seen and heard every contractor trick in the book and quite frankly it makes me sick! That is why I decided to write my Best Selling book, The Ultimate Guide To Hiring The Right Contractor. My book pulls back the curtain on the home improvement industry and reveals all of the dirty little secrets that they don’t want you to know. It also tells you exactly how to avoid each and every trick or scam, step by step.

I am currently considered America’s Leading Home Improvement Expert as evidenced by my over 30 network news appearances on ABC,NBC,CBS and FOX literally from coast to coast. In 2016 I was also invited to speak on stage at West Point with Buzz Aldrin! Disappointingly I had to decline the West Point offer because my sister-in-law had a destination wedding that same weekend. Sadly, I lost that “debate” with my wife. I have made it my mission to help as many homeowners as I can to prevent them from becoming the next contractor horror story.

Last November Busy Beaver replaced my roof. It was perfect until a large tree fell on our new roof during a big storm this July. As soon as the tree was removed they came right over to tarp the damage and helped us connect with our insurance. This time and last they have been very hospitable. We have a smaller roof which was replaced and cleaned up in one day. When something was damaged during construction they made sure it was repaired. They even went out of their way to replace a piece of our window trim. I’m disappointed to see that my neighbor left a one star review. The team has been working hard on this almost 90F August day with no shade on the roof. We received excellent service. Busy Beaver is a family company. They are all great to work with, especially Marc, who supervised our new roof installation. They all returned our calls, addressed any questions we had and kept appointments. This company even cared about our dogs during actual roof replacement and offered to pay for boarding due to noise level and stress on pets. This company also has a great crew working with them, especially Alex. Laura in the office keeps things running smoothly. She is a pleasure to speak with and making you smile is her specialty! I've been dealing with this company Busy Beaver Roofing since 2024, when I originally thought my roof had issues. In 2025 when I did need a roof, I can tell you from dealing with Kevin and his two sons, Mark and Sean,  they are the real deal.  The glue that holds it all together, Laura. She answers the phones and runs the office. If your ever having a bad day, call the office and Laura will say "How can I make you smile today." About two weeks ago they came to my home with an army of workers to install my new roof and replace three skylights. Everything they promised from dumpster drop off, material drop off and  completion time was executed with laser precision. They were very thorough with the little things like removing my old satellite t.v. brackets and an old weather station that no longer worked to installing and hooking up a vent in my roof for my bathroom exhaust fan . All these things at no extra charge. Once everything was done on the roof the "army" came onto the ground to clean up everything that came off the roof, not missing a single nail or piece of trash. This whole organization is a class act! The best thing was that this company was honest. Expecting no money until the work was done and to the customers satisfied!
